Sunday, December 18, 2016 – 7 pm – Gala Holiday Concert
Among Music at Kohl’s most beloved traditions is our annual holiday concert. This year, we welcome back New York’s famed Aulos Ensemble. Aulos Ensemble, founded in 1973, is one of America’s first “original instrument” ensembles, and its accomplishments over the past four decades have made it one of today’s pre-eminent early music interpreters. We celebrate the holidays with a joyous program of music by Vivaldi, Scarlatti, Bach and more. Aulos will be joined by soprano Julianne Baird, distinguished American baroque specialist hailed by The New York Times as a “national artistic treasure”.
This non-subscription Gala Holiday Concert benefits Kohl for Kids programs, serving more than 7,500 youths annually.
