Dear Friends,

Our 39^th season came to a close with the American String Quartet on May 1. What a thrill it’s been to hear live music in our concert hall again!

We invite you to help launch our 40^th Anniversary Season with a gift to continue to enrich our Bay Area with the transformative, healing power of music.

This season, Music at Kohl presented 8 concerts featuring world-class chamber artists and ensembles. Around these concerts, we organized and subsidized a wide array of educational and enrichment activities in our community, including elementary school assemblies, middle school and high school workshops, and master classes for advanced music students. We partner with community and senior centers to provide musical enrichment, and the San Mateo Library for family concerts and “Meet the Musicians” events.

Due to COVID restrictions, we operated at 60% capacity this season. With our small and mighty staff, dedicated board, volunteers, artists, teachers and community partners, we were still able to serve 6000+ individuals in the Bay Area and beyond. We plan to return to a full 100% capacity next season.
