Described as “the most compelling American group to come on the scene” (The New Yorker), the Horszowski Trio has become a vital force in the international chamber music world. Since its début in 2011, the trio has toured extensively world-wide, traversing the vast traditional piano trio repertoire as well as premiering new commissions. Based in New York City, the trio is Ensemble-in-Residence at the Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Music at Kohl is pleased to introduce masterful cellist Ole Akahoshi who joined the trio this season.
