Hailed as “brilliantly fresh, unexpected and exhilarating” the Maxwell Quartet is firmly regarded as one of Britain’s finest young string quartets, performing regularly across the UK and abroad. After their American debut in 2019, the New York Times called the quartet “eloquent performers who bring the same sense of charisma and sense of adventure to their programming.” Passionate about collaborating with musicians and other art forms, the quartet has worked with a global roster of artists and institutions including theater, ballet, and cinema.
