8 Sundays at 7 pm – October 18, 2026 – May 2, 2027
Experience a season of extraordinary artistry with Music at Kohl Mansion’s 2026–27 Chamber Music Series. This year’s lineup brings together celebrated ensembles from across the United States and around the world, from New York’s acclaimed Escher String Quartet and Denmark’s Trio con Brio Copenhagen to Germany’s Fauré Piano Quartet and Austin’s Miró Quartet.
The season journeys through the heart of the chamber music repertoire with masterpieces by Haydn, Beethoven, Brahms, Bach, Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Bartók, and Shostakovich, while shining a light on remarkable voices both past and present, including Dora Pejačević, Lili Boulanger, Kenji Bunch, and Jake Heggie. Special performances feature early music by the Philharmonia Baroque Chamber Players in a festive holiday concert, the deeply moving stories of the Holocaust-era Violins of Hope, and collaborations with exceptional guest vocalists and soloists.
From intimate conversations among strings and piano to vibrant celebrations of history, culture, and the human spirit, the 2026–27 season offers eight unforgettable Sunday evenings of world-class music in the unique setting of Kohl Mansion.
