A Gala Concert Evening — Special Preview

Gala Preview of Jake Heggie and Gene Scheer‘s Intonations: Songs from the Violins of Hope*  to be performed by mezzo soprano Sasha Cooke and violinist Daniel Hope, with a quartet of musicians from the San Francisco Opera Orchestra. The program also features Schubert’s String Quartet No. 12 in C minor (Quartettsatz), and Mendelssohn’s String Quartet No. 6 in F minor, Op. 80. General seating. All tickets $100.

The evening begins at 5 pm with a Gala Dinner in the presence of the composer, librettist, and Violins of Hope founders. Tickets for the Gala Dinner @ $250 per person are sold out. (Violins of Hope SF Bay Area donors at the $10,000 and above level will receive two complimentary tickets to the dinner and concert.)
