Hailed as “clearly a string quartet to watch” (Cleveland Plain Dealer), the Aeolus Quartet, this season’s Music at Kohl Discovery Ensemble, makes its Kohl début with an eclectic program of Classical, Romantic, American, and 20th Century works from Beethoven to Golijov. Formed in 2008 at the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Aeolus Quartet is notably the Grand Prize winner of the 2011 Plowman Chamber Music Competition and 2011 Chamber Music Yellow Springs Competition.
