One of Music at Kohl’s favorite ensembles, the Cavani Quartet is quartet-in-residence at the renowned Cleveland Conservatory of Music. Cavani returns to open our 33rd season with a finely curated program of vivid character pieces for string quartet: a joke, some love poems, a divertissement, a dark and stormy nocturne – spanning the history of the genre from Joseph Haydn to Joan Tower.
