Our season opens with the long-awaited début of the Philadelphia-based Jasper String Quartet, winner of multiple prestigious awards including the Plowman, Yellow Springs and Fischoff competitions, Yale School of Music prize, and Chamber Music America’s Cleveland Quartet Award. With past residencies at Oberlin Conservatory, Rice and Yale Universities, and now Temple University, the Jasper Quartet is known for its dedication to music education and community outreach in addition to its busy concert schedule.
