Sunday, December 17, 2017 – 7 pm – Gala Holiday Concert

One of the most thrilling performers of her generation, pianist Joyce Yang returns following her superb 2013 Kohl début to perform a solo recital of some of her favorite piano works. Yang came to international attention in 2005 when at 19 years of age, she won the Silver Medal in the 12th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. She has since performed as soloist with many of the world’s great orchestras, and in recital at such halls as Lincoln Center, the Metropolitan Museum, the Kennedy Center, Chicago’s Symphony Hall, and Zurich’s Tonhalle, as well as in festivals world-wide.

This non-subscription Gala Holiday Concert benefits Kohl for Kids programs, serving more than 7,500 youths annually.
